lydbury north, 2021 At Walcott Hall, Lydbury North, Shrops. Thanks to Mike Shaw for the photos. We've worked out that the feed-through air vessel probably delivered water from the lift & force pump through the point in the wall where there's evidence of patched brickwork. But we're still puzzling over the pipe running vertically up the wall to the left of the pump. It was convenient to say that it had nothing to do with the pump, but it turns out that it's connected to the back of the air vessel outlet, and also has a cut off pipe end that's pointing towards the patched brickwork.

Markings: "PATENT" on the air vessel.

Manufacturer: Both the pump and the air vessel have close similarities to models made by Appleby's.
