The scant
remains of a double-spouted pump built into a party wall at Whitchurch, Shrops.
There's a spout either side of the brick wall, and we're told that a sliding
plate above the spouts was moved across depending on which household required
water. There are no handles remaining, but a possible fulcrum can be seen high
up on the wooden stump. Thanks to Graham Robinson for the
