topsham An early lead remnant at the museum in Topsham, Devon.

Markings: "1766 BID" on the lead tank. I'm told that there was a layout convention in those days which might imply that "B" is the initial letter of a surname and "I" (which could represent a "J") and "D" the initial letters of the forenames of husband and wife.
