Lyme Regis, Dorset. A telephoto shot - you can just make out that
it's a pitcher pump.

Lyme Regis, Dorset - another telephoto
shot, and a shadow in exactly the wrong place. By 2023 it had disappeared and a
new house was being built on the plot.

There's a house on the sea front which has some very fancy lead
rainwater features - this photo shows only a small section of it. But if you
look closer, what seems at first sight to be a lead rainwater hopper also has a
spout, and furthermore also has what looks very much like a traditional lead
"rat's tail". So is this a pump component which has found a new use, or were
they produced in such a way as to be dual-purpose?
Markings: Some floral decoration - none
other.
