This impressive cast iron pump at Ipplepen, Devon, is essentially identical to pumps in Hampton Court Palace, East Molesey, Surrey; Ickenham, Greater London; Esher, Surrey; Cranfield, Beds; Stalbridge, Dorset; and Brasted, Kent. It carries the following inscription: | |||

building work going on around the pump. We hope that it survived the
