bangor, 2016 An early Belfast pattern pump at Bangor, Co. Down, with a replacement cap. Similar pumps exist at Marino, Lisburn and Larchfield, Co. Down, and at the Ulster American Folk Park in Omagh, Co. Tyrone.

Markings: "J & S SCOTT BELFAST" As of February 2026, this is the only pump discovered carrying these markings.

bangor, 2026 On the outskirts of Bangor, Co. Down. This an unusually large diameter barrel for this type of pump.

Markings: Flag, "ALL BRITISH MADE" and "4".

Manufacturer: Lee Howl

bangor, 2026 Near Bangor, Co. Down.

Markings: "MADE IN ENGLAND" and "3". What we assume to have been a Flag maker's mark has been deliberately removed by an angle grinder. Why?

Manufacturer: Probably Lee Howl.
