This ancient example at Screveton, Notts, still seems to be complete, and in 2014 had a clutch of bird's eggs in its lead tank. Thanks to Alan Murray-Rust for the photos. Markings: Initials "DF", the date "1790", a sheaf of corn and some classical female figures, all embossed on the tank. Manufacturer: Unk.
