salisbury At Trinity Hospital, an almshouse in Salisbury, Wilts. Thanks to John Hurst for the photos. The hospital was founded in 1370, rebuilt in 1705 and modernised in 1985.

Markings: There's a date, 1809, on the lead trough.

salisbury, 2014 At the Salisbury & North Wilts Museum, Salisbury, Wilts, this pump and trough used to be on the corner of Milford & Catherine Streets. Thanks to Mike Faherty for the photo.

Markings: None on the pump, although the embellished lead trough is dated 1771 and carries the letters W and A.

Manufacturer: Unk, but similar to the one above at Trinity Hospital.
