The pump at Bretton, Flint, decorated for the Queen's Diamond Jubilee, just as it was for the 1953 coronation. Apparently the villagers were upset when the pump was removed during a road-widening scheme and insisted that it be re-instated. Good for them. The cap seems to be a replacement.

Markings: "J.RIDGWAY & SONS CHESTER" cast onto the right hand/handle side of the main body of the pump.

Manufacturer: Possibly James Ridgway of Castle St., Chester.
