	This cast iron-clad pump is on Piper's Tye Green at Galleywood, Essex. It carries an inscription as follows:
	REPLICA OF THE VILLAGE PUMP THAT STOOD ON PIPERS TYE UNTIL THE 1920's PRESENTED TO THE GALLEYWOOD PARISH COUNCIL BY NORMAN BAYES ON 1st FEBRUARY 1997
