Duxford, Cambs.Thanks to John Hurst for the photo on the left. In 2011 the pump and its surroundings were renovated and a superb replacement cap made. We thought it must have been made from plastic but have now (2020) been told that in fact it is made from aluminium alloy. A local man, Ian Larque (which explains the name on the cap), made a wooden pattern and produced the casting in his back garden. Now that is impressive! Thanks to Bob Harvey for the detailed photos of the cap, on the far right. Markings: None. Manufacturer: Unk.
