At Puxley, near Deanshanger, Northants. The pump itself is situated in the well, just below water level, and comes complete with an unusually-shaped air vessel. Water is led to the house via an underground pipe. Markings: "E & H ROBERTS LTD DEANSHANGER". Manufacturer: E & H Roberts of Deanshanger.

At a farm near Deanshanger, Northants - with a unique replacement cap made from a brake drum. And the pump works. Markings: "EVANS BRAND ENGLAND", "CULWELL" and an "E" in the centre. Manufacturer: Joseph Evans - an early model, before they settled on their Lion trademark.
