Cowbridge, Vale of
Glamorgan. Thanks to Robert Guy for the photos. The main pump has a chained
down handle, whereas the delivery pipe from the semi-rotary (handle missing),
seems only to lead to the ground at the base of the main pump. I can see no
logic to this, but is it possible that the delivery pipe has simply slipped
down from its original position? Subsequently it has also been suggested that
perhaps the semi-rotary was added in order to prime the older
