Number 5... six ft high. Markings: A very indistinct possible "425" or "435" or "445"? Manufacturer: Unk. |
Number 7... perhaps not a colour scheme orginally offered by
Messrs Lee, Howl & Co - but wait until you see the pump
in its new setting. Markings: Flag, "ALL BRITISH MADE" and a number "3". Manufacturer: Lee Howl. |
Number 9... this one stands at 5' 6", and has a
rather smart finial. Markings: None. Manufacturer: Unk. |
Number 10... with some fancy flourishes. Markings: None. Manufacturer: Unk. |
Number 11... minus its cap. Markings: Lion. Manufacturer: Joseph Evans. |
Number 12, complete with authentic cast iron trough (and a sightly
less authentic magpie perched on its cap). Markings: "THOMAS & WILKS KIDDR". Manufacturer: Thomas & Wilks. |
Number 13... Markings: "7959 MARK 4.X", "BAMFORD'S UNIVERSAL PUMP" and a shiled containing the letters "BU". Manufacturer: Bamfords of Uttoxeter. |

Markings: "ALLEN & SON TAUNTON" on the barrel and "CHURCHILL" stamped at the top of the handle. Manufacturer: C. Allen & Son of Tone Bridge, Taunton. |
