This Ashby Magna pump could do with the services of a carpenter. Markings: None. Manufacturer: Unk.

Ashby Magna, Leics. Markings: It carries a plaque which reads "ENGLISH VILLAGE PUMP". Manufacturer: Unknown, but the same plaque has been found once or twice on other pumps and, significantly, on old pumps which carry known trademarks from Victorian pump makers. This might suggest that it's a refurbished original.
